Reality is: Life doesn’t come with a manual, but “how-to” guides are the next best thing. Start with the essentials:

These skills quietly boost your confidence and loudly improve your results. They aren’t just “nice to know” skills; they help you feel capable, independent, and ready to handle whatever life throws your way. They are important in learning how to hustle your way outta life's challenges.

Bottom line? These guides are like cheat codes for adulting—and the earlier you learn it, the more you’ve got this.

What every GirlBoss must know!

Life throws a lot at us—especially when you're juggling spiritual beliefs, parenting pressures, tricky work dynamics, and big decisions that shape your future. Learning to navigate all that with confidence is a game-changer. It’s not about having all the answers, but about tuning into your values, setting boundaries that feel right, and trusting your inner compass even when things get messy. Start with the essentials:

Whether you're figuring out how to raise a child, handle a tough boss, or make choices that align with your purpose, the key is to stay grounded, and remember that growth comes from showing up—not being perfect.

What every GirlBoss must learn!

What do I actually want to keep thinking about for the rest of my life? ©

At Girlboss, we try not to spiral into self-doubt or get stuck replaying old hurts. Instead, we ask ourselves, What do I actually want to keep thinking about for the rest of my life? © This question helps us snap back to the present—and start building the life we deserve. Knowing what you'd love thinking about, points you to your life's purpose.

Now, that doesn’t mean we ignore tough stuff. Sometimes, sitting with a situation and letting yourself think it through is exactly what you need to figure out what’s really going on. To solve a problem, we first need to know what's the problem. So don’t be hard on yourself. Let the thoughts come. You don’t have to shove them away.

It’s always good to know your go-to happy place and go-to happy thing to do. When you’re feeling great, take a sec to notice where you are and what you’re doing. Is it in a paddock with cattle? And designing stuff on your laptop? When you can, snap a few pics while you’re in that vibe. Then, when life feels a bit meh or you’re stuck in your head, pull them out. Let them remind you: you’ve felt peace before, and you’ll feel it again. You’ve got this.

When your thoughts start spiralling again, try flipping the script. Instead of stressing, ask yourself: What would it take for me to figure this out? © Then hand this question over to the Universe (or God—whatever is right for you), especially before bed. You’d be surprised how often clarity shows up in the morning. If something clicks, trust it—and act on it. Don’t overthink, just go with it. The more you act on those nighttime clues, the easier it gets to trust what your soul already knows is right for you. Your 'right' might be someone else's 'nope.' And it's okay!

And when things feel like they’re falling apart, try asking yourself: How is this “failure” beneficial to me? © That shift in perspective can show you how you’re actually moving forward—even if it doesn’t look like it yet.

Sometimes you've gotta nudge yourself into a gratitude mindset. Try asking yourself: Okay, what's actually going right for me right now? © Jot down anything that makes you feel thankful—big or small—and keep that list somewhere easy to reach. On the rough day, it'll be your little reminder that not everything sucks.

At GirlBoss, we also practise dropping the judgment. Instead of clinging to one belief or outcome, we ask ourselves: Where might the opposite also be true? © It helps us uninstall conditioned thought. It’s a way to stay open-minded, stay balanced, and trust that the journey is unfolding exactly as it should. Because it does!
